This was on location in the desert toward EOD #1. The conversation about the time spent in the desert both days amounts to ~28 hours. Two 14 hr days. I guess that's normal. Between Red Rock Canyon walls, stinky latex from Alien outerwear and walkie talkie buzz it seemed otherworldly for sure. Dry heat. Direct Sun. Average low 90's made it worth trippin. No sweat.

Kevin was stoked. He re-tells stuff the best way. True storyteller. Spike was pacing outside of Bimbos or ChaCha yelling about basketball... the latest trade rumors or some ish. Kevin was doing the same in his own way. He finally linked up with Spike and said his work approaches political issues etc. with a watchable lightness. Then something about how Spike made a movie in black and white. Proally a misquote on my part. Spike's getting the golden space needle award. Fitting. Kevin's ZMD is playing at SIFF too. When are we gonna see Lindsay Lohan on Pike? Natalie? Kevin would definitely get a pic with her too.

Made it to Copperopolis. Rad spot for sure. Natalie followed me in the van on a quick bit for entry. I didn't get in the best but saw quite a few good stuffs there. Save that scene down the road a bit the Top Hatters had their gig too. Tons of fivers and multipullovers. We made it out fine and camped the night. No-hangover ride but a bro busted his leg night prior getting a wheel out pho-flattrackin. Next issue DICE must cover. Took firemen an hour to get to him but a fire station was adjacent to the incident. Just closed. Everbody was drinkin coors-light. We followed suit then left. The sun was sunny.
